On 19th January, 2014, Deep Probeen Porisheba organized a Pithey Puli and Baul gaan Utsav at Udita housing estate. The idea was to recognize Bengali’s ever awaiting Poush Parbon (the seasons to celebrate the flavor of jaggery and all homemade jaggery deserts mainly like Pithey, Puli etc). This activity was custom made for the residents of Udita and thus well co ordinate and supported by the authorities of the Housing Complex.
RJ Ayantika was the official emcee of the show and the venue saw an over whelming response of around 200 residents. Deep Probeen Porisheba had a separate counter besides the entrance of the Banquet from where the registration was done along with coupon distribution for the Pither Pulis. This gave us a platform for one on one interaction with the residents to educate them about the elder care services offered by DPP.
Over all it was a musical delight and a sweet treat for all the residents of Udita.
